Our DT curriculum includes learning about the principles of nutrition and how to cook. Pupils learn to evaluate and test their ideas and products and the work of others. Their vocabularies increase as they are taught technical and precise language for the subject. Children progressively build and apply a repertoire of knowledge and skills in order to design and make products. Our curriculum teaches children the creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world.
